Arsenal put their Champions League disappointment behind them to beat Newcastle United 4-1 at the Emirates on Saturday evening.
Mikel Arteta's side shrugged off their frustrating 1-0 defeat in Porto in midweek by routing an underwhelming Magpies side in North London to underline their title credentials.
An own goal by Sven Botman opened the scoring following Gabriel's header from Declan Rice's cross, prior to Kai Havertz doubling the lead before half time.
Bukayo Saka made it 3-0 in the 65th minute before Jakub Kiwior made it 4-0 240 seconds later. Former Gunner Joe Willock grababed a consolation for Eddie Howe's side but the visitors from the North East were well beaten.
